Lineage 2 Equanimity Events Guide

General Event Information
Events on Lineage 2 Equanimity happen every hour on the hour server time (you can see server time with /time command), when you see the annoucement for an event starting you can type .join to register or go to the closest Event NPC in every town and type .leave to un-register if you change your mind. Each event gives a 10 minute sign up period before starting. Once the 10 minutes is up you will be teleported to a spawn room and will be given 90 seconds of "set up time" which gives you an opportunity to buff and make a party. After the 90 seconds is up the event will start. There is a teleporter in the spawn rooms with several teleport choices including random, which are used to join the event area, there are also boundries around the spawn room and if you walk outside the boundary you will be teleported into the event area (some people prefer doing this rather than using the teleporter). Each time you die you will be taken back to the spawn room and will have 45 seconds to return to the event area or you will be teleported automatically after the 45 seconds is up.

Each event has an anti-afk system, if you see a player that is afk you can type .afk while targeting them and they will be given a pop up window which gives them 45 seconds to respond, if they don't respond within the 45 seconds they will be removed from the event, jailed for 30 minutes and receive an event penalty that prevents them from joining events for.

There are 5 Event Voting periods daily in which players can vote for which event they want to do and the event with the most votes is chosen for the next event, the voting period lasts 10 minutes, at the end of the 10 minutes the event is decided and then the 10 minute event registration period begins like normal.

Our server has a custom event balancing system which takes into account and rates each player and uses this information to help make the teams more balanced, of course it isn't perfect but it does greatly help with overall event balance. You can read more about it by type .faq in game and going to the "How do Teams get sorted in Team Events?" section.

In Team Events you can use the command .tc which allows you to send a message that only people on your team can see even if they aren't in your party. For example .tc hello would say "hello" in Team Chat. You may also use the ` symbol to talk in Team Chat. (Example: ` hello would say "hello" in Team Chat as well.)

Even if you aren't in an Event you still can watch/spectate/observe it at teh registration NPC after the event has started.

If you disconnect from the server, you can log back in and still be in the event, in most cases.

Also even if you lose the Event you still get a small prize.

We have IP Protection for all our events which prevents players from joining events with a bunch of alts!

Event Modes
Each event has two different possible modes, "Default" or "Limited". The only exception is Raid Boss Events which are always "Unlimited" mode. Default mode is an event mode in which only basic buffs are available at the event NPCs, and things like CP Pots, and Mana Pots can not be used. There are no enchant restrictions, no clan skill restrictions, and no hero related restrictions.

Limited mode is an event mode in which only basic buffs are available at the event NPCs, and items such as CP Pots, and Mana Pots can not be used. There are also enchant restrictions, anything that is above +10 will only have stats of +10 gear instead. Clan/Hero skills do not work and this mode happens about 50% of the time. (This mode is meant to help new players have a fairer chance in events against long time players and all events can be in Limited Mode except Raid Boss Events)

Unlimited mode is currently only available for Raid Boss Events. In Unlimited mode you can use all the buffs available at a normal NPC Buffer in town, and items such as CP Pots, and Mana Pots are allowed. There are no enchant restrictions and Clan/Hero skills are allowed as well.

Event Types:

Team Vs Team Event (TvT) -
Team Vs Team Events are pretty self explanatory, it's an event in which two teams are pitted against eachother (Angels Vs Demons) and at the end the team with the most points is the winner (Each kill is 1 point). Each team gets a specific buff in their spawn room, for example Angels get a buff that increases p def/m def by 5% and Demons get a special buff too but it increases their p atk/m atk by 5%. There is also an additional reward given to the player with the most kills. Type .tvt to check the teams current score/player amount.
The current Team Vs Team Event maps are Ramps, Orc Village, and Frozen Labyrinth.
This Event uses our custom Team Balancing system to help with improving team balance. (Type .faq and click "How are Teams sorted in Team Events?" section to read more about it)

Capture the Flag Event (CTF) -
Capture the Flag is an event where you are either on the Blue Team, or the Red Team. The two teams compete against eachother trying to take the other teams flag and bring it back to there flag, your team gets 1 point each time the return the enemies flag to your flag. Registration for this Event lasts 10 minutes, and the actual Event also lasts 10 minutes. At the end the team with the most points wins and the player with the most flag captures gets and additional reward (Only counts if you actually get the flag back to your flag). Keep in mind that you can't get a point for capturing the enemies flag when you return it to your flag if your enemy currently has your flag.
The current Capture the Flag maps are School of Dark Arts (Soda), Rune Castle, and Ruins.

Capture the Point Event (CTP) -
Capture the Point is an event in which you are either on the Green Team, or the Purple Team. The two teams compete for 3 designated spots on the map to capture them, when your team captures one they will recieve points, and for every 25 seconds your team keeps control of that point your team is awarded additional points, So your team needs to capture as many spots as possible and prevent your enemy from taking them as well. Registration for this Event lasts 10 minutes, and the actual Event also lasts 10 minutes. The team with the most points at the end wins, and the player with the most captures will get an additional reward. (If you don't know where the capture spots are type .ctp and click "loc" buttons, they will show you exactly where the capture spots are, .ctp also shows the current team scores and ownershop of each capture spot.)
The current Capture the Point maps are School of Dark Arts (Soda), and Enchanted Valley.
This Event also uses our custom Team Balancing system to help with improving team balance. (Type .faq and click "How are Teams sorted in Team Events?" section to read more about it)

King of the Hill Event (KOTH) -
King of the Hill is an event where you are either on the Green Team, or the Purple Team. In this event two teams fight over a certain point on the map which moves throughout the course of the event called "Hills". A Hill is symbolized by a Headquarters Flag with a large area animation coming from it. There is only one Hill active at a time, and every 2 minutes the Hill will move to a different position. There will be arrow above your head pointing to where ever the current Hill is located, so follow it. Who ever gets on a new Hill first will recieve +3 points for their team a +1 Captures for their personal score. After the Hill is activated a timer will trigger every 25 seconds, which ever team has more players on the Hill when this timer fires off gets +10 points for their team and +1 Captures for their personal score for the players on the Hill at that time. If there is equal amount of both teams on the Hill no points will rewarded when the timer fires off. Dead players do not count as a player on the Hill. Ports in this Event may alternate depending on the current Hills position. The team with the most points at the end wins, and the player with the most captures gets an additional reward.
The current King of the Hill maps are School of Dark Arts (Soda), and Giant's Cave.
This Event also uses our custom Team Balancing system to help with improving team balance. (Type .faq and click "How are Teams sorted in Team Events?" section to read more about it)

Deathmatch/Deathmatch Survival Events (DM/DMS) -
Deathmatch (DM) and Deathmatch Survival are events in which all the players that joined are pitted against eachother in a free-for-all brawl with no teams. In DM at the end the player with the most kills is the winner and in DMS the player with the least deaths wins. Please note that if your in (DMS) you can't win if you dont have any kills, or just a really small number, so you actually have to fight! Registration for this Event lasts 10 minutes, and the actual Event also lasts 10 minutes.
You are anonymous in this Event, that means you can percieve your self as you normally do, but your enemies (and how you see your enemies) will see you totally different, your names, clans, faces, hair colors, hair sytles, genders, hair accessories will appear changed and will continue to change through out the match to help prevent friends from teaming up.
Buffing and healing your enemies is disabled.
The current Deathmatch maps are Devastated Castle, and Rooms.

Raid Battle Event (RB) -
Raid Battle event is pretty self explanitory as well. All the players that joined work together on the same team to kill the Raid Boss, once the Raid Boss is dead everyone wins. Registration for this Event lasts 10 minutes, and the actual Event lasts up to 20 minutes unless you defeat the boss before then. The difficulty of the Event is dyanamic, meaning the difficulty changes depending on how many players sign up. An extra prize is rewarded to whoever gets the least amount deaths, who ever gets this most damage (only if 10 or more sign), and who ever heals the most (only if 15 or more sign). Event Buffers are provided, and Mana Pots are allowed.
The current Raid Boss Event maps are Throne Room, and Monastic Fortress.
